Multi-Trade Operative

Avalon is currently supporting a client of ours in Cuffley for the recruitment of multiple Multi-Trades Operatives.

The Opportunity:

My client in Cuffley are seeking multiple Multi-Trades Operatives to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring all properties managed by our client are maintained to the highest standard. Your work will help create safe, well-kept, and healthy living environments for those we look to accommodate.

The successful candidate will:

• Perform hands-on maintenance and repair tasks, including diagnosing faults, troubleshooting, and ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with current building regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies
• Coordinate daily operational activities, ensuring efficient use of resources, time management, and meeting deadlines
• Manage and resolve complex maintenance issues, liaising with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, work orders, and compliance documentation
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available, well-maintained, and used efficiently
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all completed work meets the required standards

• £32,500 - £37,500 per annum + Bonus
• Full-time working pattern
• Company van provided (Business and personal use)
• Tools provided

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative with a strong background across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
• Full UK drivers licence
• Relevant certifications in multiple trades (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, etc.)
• Health and Safety certifications
