Damp & Mould Surveyor

Avalon is currently supporting an organisation in North Somerset to recruit an interim Damp, mould and condensation Surveyor.

The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of projects, managing the day-to-day scoping of works, offering technical support and managing the delivery to ensure the correct repair works are completed on time, to budget, and in line with standards.

The focus will be on the ownership of larger Damp and Mould cases, HSSRS cases as well as complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring that repairs are project managed to meet deadlines and within budget.

The successful candidate will:

• Work alongside our residents and leaseholders taking ownership of ensuring that repairs are managed end to end.
• Carry out audits on in-house trade staff and contractors during and on completion of works.
• Complete detailed reports and specification writing.
• Surveying and Identifying building defects.

Further information:

• 3 – 6 month contract
• Hybrid working

Requirements:

• Driving license & access to a vehicle
• Good working knowledge of Health and safety regulations
• A Formal Building qualification such as a RICs accredited course, BSC, HNC or HND.
